Earlier this month, my latest book was released: From M.Div. to Rev.: making an effective transition from seminary into pastoral ministry.This book is a guide and reference for seminary students who plan to enter pastoral ministry upon graduation; it takes them through all of the stages of getting ready for candidacy, finding good opportunities, gathering and providing the right information, making decisions, and beginning well. It is the result of seven years of work, including a research survey, follow-up interviews, gathering case studies, and also plenty of personal experience.
Obviously, it's not for everyone-- but there are perhaps one or two people I know who will benefit from it, I hope.
